FoodSaver Titanium Game Saver

FoodSaver Titanium Game Saver

FoodSaver steps up their game with the Titanium Game Saver G800.

Finally! FoodSaver puts out a real workhorse that addresses most, if not all of the downsides that I had with their other models.  The only real remaining downsides are the price and the lack of replacement parts.

You’ll be able to pick up a Titanium Game Saver from Amazon for under the MSRP of $449 on FoodSaver’s own site. As of right now, Amazon has it listed for sale at $280. I’ve posted an Amazon link below for you to check out.

This machine can do 100 consecutive seals with ease! 100 consecutive seals allows you to easily do around 300 lbs of food. It is very robust and has a massive dual 15″ seal strip that you can put into an alternating mode to have the seal strips switch with each seal so that you can just about fly through vacuum sealing that buck or mountain of bulk food you are processing. You can also choose to have both seals work simultaneously for a seriously secure seal.

Additionally, this is one of the first FoodSaver units to come with a high performance dual pump. This makes the vacuum pull stronger and much faster. The buttons are rubberized with frequent pressing in mind. The workmanship and quality of materials are reflected in the price of the unit verses the other models they have for sale.

The FoodSaver Game Saver G800 is a robust Vacuum Sealer

You’ll find this unit has onboard roll storage and has a built in cutter for the convenience that I am a fan of. No need to store a roll separately and cut by hand, which I find tiresome quickly. It also has the onboard dishwasher safe drip tray and accessory hose.

This is a rather large unit! Make sure to find a spot to store it before you make the purchase. It is fairly heavy, however FoodSaver compensated for this by adding two handles, one on each side. This makes it very easy to carry.

  • Product dimensions: 6″H x 26″W x 12″ D
  • Weight: 21.95lbs.
  • Cord length: 52″

A helpful Amazon Reviewer named Where the Sidewalk ends posted this helpful size comparison of the GameSaver Titantium G800

It’s no Chamber Sealer, but at this price point it certainly gives the ARY VacMaster Pro380 a legitimate challenge.

ARY VacMaster Pro 380, my favorite out of chamber sealer.

The ARY has a 1″ wider seal strip and replacement parts are easy to come by.  It’s just a little bit more expensive, but if you can stretch a bit I would still suggest the ARY VacMaster Pro 380 over the FoodSaver. The availability of spare parts might be trivial in this instance since the Game Saver Titanium G800 is built like a tank. I still like the option.
