The Breville|PolyScience 300 Series is a premium chamber sealer with a maintenance-free dry piston pump, three programmable presets and a marinate cycle. It’s built for serious home cooks and small restaurants — but it weighs about 55 lb. PolyScience’s external 150 Series sealer has been discontinued.
Who is PolyScience?

- Seal bar about 11.5 inches and a chamber of roughly 13.8 × 12 × 4.3 inches (retailer figures).

Who should consider it
Cooks who vacuum seal liquids, compress fruit, infuse or pickle regularly, and want programmable consistency. For occasional use, a lighter chamber sealer like the Anova Precision Chamber makes more sense.
The discontinued 150 Series
Breville lists its external 150 Series (VSCR-150) as discontinued. It had a 12.75-inch seal bar, auto seal, Seal Plus, pulse and an external vacuum port. Breville hasn’t named a replacement external sealer, so look at our best vacuum sealers for current alternatives.
Spare parts and support
For any premium chamber sealer, check the availability of lid gaskets, seal bar tape and seal wires before you buy, and confirm warranty terms with the retailer — Breville’s product page didn’t state them at the time of our research.
